AASM Announces Additional Technician 
Certification Exam

The position of the Iowa Sleep Society on this debate is that we will
not falter in our efforts to promote our purpose and goals to
distinguish Polysomnographic Technology as a distinct profession
in Iowa.  
*To conduct educational activities relative to the field of 
  polysomnography.
*To promote the highest level of clinical standards for patient 
  care and safety.
*To provide a means by which polysomnography professionals 
   may communicate.
*To locally support and advance a professional identity that is 
  related both to a professional technological function of allied 
  health care generally, as well as to the field of sleep medicine 
  specifically.
